You’ll need to have experience of dealing with talent, have great time management skills, a high level of production expertise around recording, editing and scheduling and have the confidence in your ideas to make our brands better than anyone else, and better than we were yesterday.

Focus of the Role As the Programme Manager you’ll be experienced across all aspects of station life ensuring everything runs smoothly, and importantly you’ll have the ability to manage situations when they aren’t. No two days are the same and the role is a challenging and rewarding one. Working closely with the Music and Content Director you’ll ensure our stations are organised, efficient and delivering what our audiences expect. In addition to routine tasks such as managing meetings, scheduling music and producing shows, you’ll also be adaptable to last minute issues that need resolving, while keeping a calm composure as you do so.

What you’ll do We’re extremely passionate about our brands. As Programme Manager, you’ll be a key part of making sure the teams are organised and inspired to deliver the very best results every day. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of presenters and producers on a daily basis
  • Scheduling Music Logs and producing shows to a tight turnaround
  • Dealing with the admin, making sure it’s correct and on time
  • Arranging artist and contributor interviews
  • Working with sales to bring client ideas to life in a style that fits our brands

What you will bring The ability to lead and inspire our teams whilst working in a time-pressured environment is at the heart of everything you’ll do in this role, so you’ll bring:

  • Experience of working with high level talent
  • The ability to manage a busy workload in a time-pressured environment
  • Great team working skills, and the ability to support others in the team as needed
  • Able to come up with great ideas to create compelling output for our listeners and advertisers
  • Confidence in your interpersonal skills
  • A real passion for the brands you’re working with
  • Experience of playout and music scheduling systems
  • Excellent Zetta and GSelector experience
