Radio Advertising Field Sales Executive to sell airtime, digital media and sponsorship solutions to potential customers in the area of Fife and surrounding areas.

The Company Our client is an established Radio station operating in the Kingdom of Fife. They provide their clients with innovative range of broadcast and digital media opportunities designed to place their customers brand at the front of their audiences mind. Following a successful year last year they are looking to expand their sales team

The Role They currently require a Advertising Field Sales Executive to sell airtime and online advertising and sponsorship to a new business customers in the area of Fife. This role will involve the management of a territory where you will be responsible for targeting an already identified potential client base and sourcing new leads. You will be responsible for warm and cold telemarketing calls to obtain face to face sales meetings with potential customers. This is a structured sale where you will identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative advertising solutions tailored to the client to ensure results. Once on board you will manage and nurture existing accounts, ensuring optimisation of revenue streams. You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, presentation tools, metrics and marketing information to ensure sales success.

The Candidate Ideally you will require experience of selling advertising space from any media sector (i.e magazines, directories, online, exhibition, newspapers, etc).

Alternatively you will have strong experience and a demonstrable (brag file of evidence) high achieving track record of success of new business tele or field sales selling any business to business product such as data leads, office furniture, office supplies, franking machines, IT equipment, IT products, training, telecoms, financial products, digital print services, coupled with a passion for the internet.

You will be able to put across a strong sales argument with excellent presentation skills, drive and enthusiasm and the ability to come up with creative ideas that are commercially viable. You will have a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments, coupled with drive, motivation and passion to develop new business in a competitive market. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels
