Our client is an innovative technology, music and content business that provide their clients with innovative tech solutions designed to enable their clients to communicate with the people in their world. Their products include brand engagement and creative media content through video and content production services, 3D animation, Drone filming, AR, VR and digital media.
The Client Our client is a Creative media and Communications agency who provide customers from SMEs to PLCs with a range of awesome and innovative audio, visual and digital media solutions. They provide their clients with a plethora of innovative tech solutions designed to enable their clients to communicate with the people in their world. Due to expansion and the launch of a brand new Radio station aimed at the Energy sector they currently require an Radio Advertising Sales Executive based in their Aberdeen office.
The Role You will be responsible for selling radio airtime advertising, sponsorship, content and promotional opportunities. You will be selling to a mix new and existing key SME and corporate clients primarily over the phone and occasionally face to face. Clients will be from the Energy sector and any business in the Energy sector supply chain (i.e recruitment, events, entertainment, travel, ect).This role will involve sourcing new leads and initially focusing on new business generation. This is a structured sale where you will identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative advertising solutions tailored to the client to ensure results. You will be working with a great back up team, you’ll be putting together creative pitches using the latest technology that will make you stand out to your clients. Once you have your clients on board you will manage the relationships with key decision makers to ensure that the relationship is nurtured and grown. You will be responsible for the development of these commercial partnerships to ensure the optimisation of revenue streams. You will ensure your activity is implemented efficiently, managing advertising campaigns and guaranteeing the best results for customers and client satisfaction. Working to targets and deadlines will have the support and back up of strong case studies, metrics and marketing information.
The Candidate To apply for this role you will require experience of selling advertising space from any media sector (i.e magazines, directories, online, exhibition, newspapers, etc).
You will have a strong drive, work ethic and motivation to develop business in a competitive market. You will require a stable work history and will have strong verbal and written communication skills. You will be naturally enthusiastic and creative with the ability to generate new innovative ideas that will capture your client’s imagination.
