LBC and Global News is looking for a reporter to join its award-winning and record-breaking team. Working across news and programming, you will be comfortable reporting live from the scene of a breaking story to securing exclusive content that makes LBC stand out. You’ll be using a full range of multi-media tools to research and deliver on-air and online content.  

What will you be doing? You will be part of the Global reporting team and you will be comfortable reporting live for LBC, the UK’s larest commerical news-talk station. You will be brimming with ideas that you can’t wait to get on air and will be experienced at creating and delivering exclusive journalism. You will have a great voice and be able to deliver reports with authority targeted to our audience. You will also have the skills to deliver online content and understand the role social networking can play in what we do. With regular training from the best practitioners in the industry you will be given the opportunity to reach your full potential and progress your career.

What we expect of you You’ll need to be a Broadcast Journalist with previous experience of creating original content on-air and online. You will be reporting live from the scene of stories so will need to have some experience in this area. You’ll have excellent networking skills, with experience of contributing to effective contact databases. You will have sound knowledge of the law and broadcasting code. A full, clean UK Driving License is essential
