Rock FM is part of the Bauer City Network serving a potential audience of more than 1.2 million people in Lancashire.

We’re looking for a Breakfast Producer to create and produce distinctive and compelling content that engages and connects with our target audience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce a daily live Breakfast Show.
• Generate and produce original content ideas in line with the station plan.
• Create a daily show (and three-month) plan for review with the team.
• Create audio/video content for online distribution.
• Ensure quality delivery of commercial promotions or sponsorship activity.
• Contribute to wider station production/programming tasks.
• Ensure all broadcasts are compliant with media law and Ofcom regulations.

Key Competencies, Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience in live studio producing.
• A clear understanding of the target audience and their lifestyle.
• Ability to transform creative ideas into great content.
• Strong editorial judgement in line with Ofcom regulations.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of audio/studio production techniques.
• Skilled in use of audio/video production software.
• An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working either as part of a team or independently to get the job done.
