We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic career minded individual with the ambition to progress a career in technology to join our radio group at apprentice level. If you love the idea of working in radio, have a desire and the ability to improve our support desk and demonstrate you are ready for bigger challenges then this may be the role for you.
Offering exceptional levels of support and customer service to our user base of circa 200 users of Microsoft technologies.
Incident management, prioritisation and escalation.
Dealing with day to day service requests such as account creation and user on boarding.
Looking after our ZenDesk based service desk solution.
A chance to get involved in IT projects in different areas of the business where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference.
THE SKILLS YOU’LL GAIN
Experience of administering Office365, including active directory, Windows Server 2012/2016, Exchange Online and SharePoint.
A knowledge of networks and supporting services including DHCP, DNS, WAN, VPN, enterprise Wi-Fi and IP Telephony.
Ability to stay customer focused and reassure even the most demanding of customers.
The analytical toolset to help you solve complicated problems.
Troubleshooting Windows and iPhone client devices and associated apps ranging from the standard Office, Skype, Adobe to industry specific and bespoke apps.
A good foundation in ITIL Service Management principles within the service desk such as Incident, Problem, Service Request, Major Incident.

You will need to be smart, bold and engaging and be able to display our company values in the work you do; Bravery, Integrity and Passion. You should be as passionate about working in radio as we are.
A minimum of 1-2 years within a Technology environment
Effective communication skills that will enable you to verbalise and write the right response to your customers
Meticulous organisational skills demonstrated in excellent record keeping of users and equipment.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
The role is based at our brand-new headquarters at the top of the XYZ Building in Spinningfields, Manchester.
