From our Scotland office in South Queensferry, West Lothian, you would be responsible for providing travel related social media content for our client. Proactively tweeting traffic information in real time and responding to inquiries is the primary purpose of the role.

The ability to publish information, in a succinct and formal manner is essential and you can demonstrate that you have excellent writing, communication and organisational skills. A thorough understanding of Twitter is also required. Experience with social media publishing platforms and the Scottish road network is desirable.

This position is a separate discipline from our own business of broadcasting travel news.

You will enjoy working in a busy environment, working confidently on your own initiative, where no two days are the same and you will be able to commit to either one Saturday or Sunday shift per week, both are available.

You may be in the media / communications industry and looking for a change of scenery, or maybe a new challenge in a different environment. You may also be a student still attending college or university and be looking for weekend work.

The shifts:

Saturday and Sunday 10:00 – 18:00 (either one shift or both) plus the opportunity to cover other midweek ad-hoc vacancies between 06:00 and 22:00.
