Citisport Radio is a new London sports radio station that will be launching in early 2018. The station will be broadcasting to 10 million Londoners across AM, DAB, Mobile and digital platforms.
We passionately believe that London has room for another sports radio station and so do our backers. Kelvin Mackenzie, founder of talkSPORT Radio, Nigel Wray, owners of rugby’s European Champion Saracens and Stephen Lansdown of Hargreaves Lansdown. The station will offer a more modern and fresh take on sports radio and with so many professional clubs based in London across many sports we will have so much to keep London busy with.
We are looking for talent that wants to be different, that wants to challenge the norm, is passionate about a sport or sports and what they do. Citisport is looking for ON AIR TALENT for shows across the entire stations output.
Are you passionate about sport? Are you full of energy with a personality to take on the London audience? Are you comfortable behind a microphone and able to think on your feet?
Fancy waking London up every day or even getting them home safely at the end of the day. It could be that you’ve always wanted to do a rugby show or even an NFL show but just never had the opportunity. Ideal Requirements:
A good understanding of radio programming regulations Ability to host and produce their own show Ability to work in a high pressured environment Confidence in their own editorial ability to shape a show Experience of working in a commercial environment Familiar with studio systems Extensive contacts in the radio industry
