Wanted: Voluntary Sports Reporters

As a Sports Reporter, you will respond to current sporting events including game scores and outcomes, player injuries, sports personalities, changes in team structure and other related topics.

Training: Training will be provided on how to put reports together to submit both live and "as-live" to the sports and news programmes. The successful individual will be continually monitored with regular feedback on progress.

Personal Qualities: Enthusiasm for sport and the skills to communicate effectively as a news reporter. Local knowledge of sports teams and individuals would be an real advantage especially at Non-league football ( levels 5-10 on the football pyramid). The ability to network among sports professionals and amateurs alike improves opportunities for success of the station, the sports team and the individual.

Additional Information: No expenses are available for travel to/from events . Your attendance/admission however will be free . The reporter must have a fairly recent smart phone with up to date software release . No contributions towards comms costs are available.
