Star Radio is a local commercial radio station for Cambridge, Huntingdon, St. Neots, Ely, Newmarket, Haverhill, Saffron Walden and Peterborough owned and operated by Bauer Media Audio UK.
The station was previously owned by UKRD who sold the station in December 2016.
In November 2017, Star flipped from playing AC to Classic Hits.
Star Radio's coverage expanded to cover North West Essex when they introduced a new relay in Saffron Walden on 107.3 FM from February 2020 and later expanded to most of the county and Huntingdonshire on 100.7 FM, a final relay was added for Haverhill on 107.9 FM in November 2020.
February 2025 saw Star play music from the 90s to now as the station flips to Hits Radio Cambridgeshire from March 3rd.
