Sunrise Radio, The World’s Greatest Asian Radio Station is growing! We were recently announced as one of the stations in Sound Digitals successful DAB National service. We are looking for 2 individuals to join us in our news room.
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in a radio newsroom
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Educated to degree level in Journalism / Media & Communications
- Familiar with current Media Law reporting rules and regulations
- Working knowledge of editing audio, preferably using Adobe Audition; desirable but not essential as basic training can be given
- Clear, strong broadcasting voice
- Ability to work to a tight timetable of deadlines
- Fully immersed in news and current affairs
- An understanding of what news items appeal and interest Asian audiences
- Experience in writing copy for radio bulletins
- Great Social Media skills
