Subjam is a UK garage radio station with deep roots in the UK pirate radio scene. Born during the height of underground FM broadcasting, Subjam operated for over a decade as a pirate radio UK station dedicated to UK garage, 4x4, 2-step, house, and underground club culture. Built by DJs and listeners at the centre of the scene, it became known for raw, unfiltered sets, late-night FM energy, and a direct connection to the garage movement that shaped UK dance music.
Subjam is still built on the same foundations it started with, authentic UK garage radio, strong DJ culture, and a commitment to the underground. The platform may have evolved from FM pirate radio into a modern DAB and online broadcaster, but the spirit remains unchanged.
