TalkRadio is a national tabloid newstalk radio station for the UK.
The station offers news coverage and talkback output, signing up George Galloway, Iain Lee, Sam Delaney, Paul Ross and Julia Hartley-Brewer at launch. The format is similar to the Australian 2GB, the UK's LBC, or many services in the US and Canada.
"Talk Radio UK" was the original incarnation of what's now known as talkSPORT: this station is also run by talkSPORT's parent company News Broadcasting, a subsidiary of the Rupert Murdoch owned News UK.
TalkRadio relaunched on April 25th 2022 becoming a simulcast of TalkTV. The majority of the output is produced by TalkRadio complete with tv cameras in the radio studio with prime-time programming from TalkTV.
