Hits Radio is a quasi-local contemporary hit radio station for Southampton, Portsmouth and Winchester.
As part of Bauer Media Group acquiring Celador Radio, The Breeze South Hampshire and Sam FM South Coast were divested to Nation Broadcasting who took over management in March 2019.
Since February 2020, The Breeze no longer haf networked programming from Celador and was largely produced from Nation Broadcasting in Wales with drivetime from the local area only.
From August 31st 2020 Hits Radio launched under a brand licensing agreement with Bauer Media.
